DISCLAIMER: These critique services are totally independent of the final standing of your ‘tale’ in this competition. Think American Idol, where the judges add their critical comments and suggestions but do not select the winners. Similarly, Tales2Inspire™ awards are determined by your peers, based on the tally of the scores submitted by three of your fellow writers.

A full written critique of your ‘tale’ by a team of three experienced writer/editors, offering suggestions for improving the organization, expression, focus, and/or content (expansion or compression) of the ideas within your ‘tale’. By following these critique suggestions, you will receive pinpointed advice on ways to refine your story. A 15 minute phone conference with award winning author & professional  editor, Susan C. Haley, Susan will read your ‘tale’ in advance, provide you with the opportunity to ask specific questions about it and receive professional answers. Marketing Services

Provide Tales2Inspire™ with a conglomerate of your reviews (not to exceed 150 words), gleaned from social media, blogs, judges comments, and/or any additional author obtained sources. Be sure to include the name and title of the reviewer, if provided. We will place your reviews on Carolyn Howard-Johnson’s respected review blog under the Tales2Inspire banner.

Author Recognition

As an Authors Helping Authors project, Tales2Inspire™ provides additional services for those who want to move to the next level: Get more exposure, increase your fan base, build your reputation as a talented author. 

A personal phone interview for Winners and Finalist with Tales2Inspire™ radio host, Lois W. Stern - a chance to talk about you and your inspiring ‘tale’. Posted on the MEET THE AUTHORS page FREE for first year. Annual renewal fee: $14.95. Renew here.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CRITIQUE SERVICE: Writers must put forth their best effort before submitting a ‘tale’ for a critique. Any ‘tale’ submitted in unpolished form, (lacking sufficient grammar, sentence structure, organization, editing, etc.)  will be returned untouched, noting that it first requires more work on the part of the author. You will be given the choice of receiving a refund minus a $14.95 reading fee or an opportunity to resubmit your rewritten draft at no additional charge. NOTE: If resubmitting, your 'tale' must be received at least four weeks before the posted deadline of the current competition.
