ENTER CONTEST

Hi, my name is  Lois W. Stern. I am a former educator motivated to help other aspiring authors on their individual paths to discovery. I created Tales2Inspire® to fulfill that promise, never dreaming it would do so much more.

Theme for 2026: This Book Speaks to Me

What book left you with an everlasting, indelible message you’ve been unable to forget?

Name its title, author and a brief summary of that message. But your story is still to be a memoir, meaning it’s going to be mostly about you: how something in that book impacted on you, either in one personal moment or in your life everlasting.

Deadline Date: May 30, 2026

TESTIMONIALS

Estarlyn (Starling) Hiraldo

Working with Lois has been one of the most eye-opening and rewording eperiences of my life. I have learned to be grateful for human interaction and the importance of sharing stories with communities across the globe.

Anonymously critiquing the work of three of my peers sharpened my critical thinking skills. In turn, having my story judged by three other authors was helpful to me. Being open to change can make for positive results, helping to polish an already great story to near perfection.

Are you a story teller? Well, I am and I know telling a tale is easier than writing it down. Words on paper show little action because speech patterns and body language are lost. Using only words to convey your intended message in print takes time and thought but it can be done. Often a potentially moving story is written with little feeling or heart; with a potentially great tale remaining on the cuttring board. I help writers find that balance. I have worked with Lois on several Tales2Inspire projects in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I look forward to helping you as well. You can contact me at:rdigrutt@outlook.com and put EDIT HELP in the subject line.
