When Megan and her husband decided it was time to start their family, they ran into one obstacle after another. After four miscarriages, they sought the advice of a fertility specialist. Following his advice, they chose IVF (in vitro fertilization) as their best option. What joy to learn that Megan was pregnant with twins! One embryo survived. But alas, at thirty-three weeks, their baby daughter Lyla was born “still”, with the umbilical cord wrapped around her tiny neck.
Heartbroken, but determined to become parents, they accept the offer of a guardian angel, who stepped in to make their dream come true.
