MAINTENANCE FOR MY SOUL: THE MAN FROM NOWHERE

Often an inspiring story comes from a real life, yet unforgettable experiences. This is one such story.
This inspiring story begins with a description of a beautiful newborn boy. Cami’s mother-in-law took to calling him “doll boy”, because he was as perfect in her mind as a baby could be. When “Toots” was born, his face was round, topped with a wisp of blonde hair and his eyes were as blue as the sky. He ate and slept like a champ and showed early signs of being a good-natured, easy-to-care-for baby. The pediatrician declared him “perfectly healthy”, but said there was just one thing he wanted her to check out. That’s why Cami Ann had an appointment with a neurosurgeon on that particular day.

Devastation, with a glimmer of hope
Her son was only six weeks old when she received the neurosurgeon’s devastating prognosis. “Toots” was going to die. She left the doctor’s office in near tears. But as she reached the parking lot, tears partially obliterated her view, she met a mysterious man. She barely noticed the burly, dark-skinned man with a large set of keys dangling from his belt and a squeegee grasped in his hands. But try as she might to ignore his questioning words, his soft, reassuring voice drew her to him. He brought her a message of hope.
To this day she still ponders . . . was meeting this man a mere coincidence or was he an angel in human form?
