GOD MUST HAVE WANTED ME TO SMILE

This is the inspiring story of a woman mourning the anniversary of her brother’s death, when something happens to bring her great comfort.
A beautiful red cardinal appeared outside Sharon’s window, stopping her instantly in her tracks. This vibrantly red cardinal didn’t just perch there. He soon began strutting across her patio, as if on parade just for her.
On any other day, Sharon might have said, “Oh, there’s a cardinal,” and passed it off at that. But this was no ordinary day. Her brother, Mootsey, used to be a great fan of the Cardinals baseball team, up until the day one year ago when he had taken his life. Actually, when she checked her old phone records, she realized that this sighting was within seconds of that fateful time. It possibly had happened at the very same moment she had received that life altering call. How she missed him!
But then, through some internet research on the symbolic meaning of cardinals, Sharon found renewed strength.
Red Cardinal brings message of comfort
She knew in her heart that this beautifully vibrant bird was heaven sent to comfort and reassure her. Surely God must have wanted her to smile that day, the anniversary of a day she would never forget.
